Fisher Jewelers & Silversmiths, INC., founded by Raymond and Jo Ann Fisher, opened its doors on August 1, 1978 in Florence, SC. Prior to opening Fisher Jewelers, Raymond, a graduate of USC, was a salesman for his family's business, Fisher Silversmith & Fisher Diamonds. His grandfather, Sam Fisher, an immigrant from Russia, founded Fisher Silversmiths in Providence, RI and later in New Jersey. His father, Bud Fisher and his uncle took over the Holloware business when Sam retired and expanded into the loose diamond business.

Raymond & Jo Ann began an amazing journey together in 1978 that would span more than 45 years and are still going strong to this day. Fisher Jewelers is not just a business to them; it's a family that includes their two daughters, sons-in-law, two granddaughters, and two grandsons.
